Alright, ive always wondered if you got your nails done then went home and had to mess with the fishtank if it would have any effect... you know how bad most of those nail places smell like chemicals, so it must have a negitive effect on the fishies... :| ????

Nail polish is nothing to worry about once it has dried, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm interested to see more responses to this post. I think it would be okay once it dried but I don't know...Probably not an issue if you just put your hands in and take them out but what if you say...painted something with nail polish and put it in the tank.

id deffinately never paint anything with nailpolish for a fish tank..... thats just asking for trouble in my mind... but your right i mean if its on your hands, it should be OKAY once its dried.... but then that would apply to painting something and putting it in...
