Mystery Fry

I found a baby in my tank and I don't know what breed it is as I didn't know that any of my fish were pregnant. It could either be a platy, Molly, neon tetra or zebra danio. On this topic I will keep you updated on my mystery fry and my 2 guppy fry.

Day 1: my guppys are growing quickly and are developing colour on their tails. The mystery baby is fine. Me and my friend thought that mystery(what im going to call her)could be a crossbreed.

I called the mystery baby mystery and she is beautiful!! I'm so happy!

My money would be on it being a Molly or Guppy, possibly a Zebra Danio. Molly-Guppy intebreeding is possible, not too common though from what i know.

Hello, why did you post a question on the 9th asking how long your pregnant guppy had left and then yesterday post that you didn't know any were pregnant? Anyway have u had a look for anymore babies?

does the baby have any color or does it look like your guppy fry. I had a fry like that long time ago that I thought is molly the entire time while it was growing up, I found it just like you when cleaning the tank and they were only 3 fry. When it grew up in turned out to be a platy... having in mind I had only 2 female platy in my tanks- ever... so go figure what are the chances. I figured it is platy cause all 3 of them grew up and were male, then i gave away 2 and kept one in the molly tank, one day decided to move him to the sword tail tank and he was super interested of the females... so thats how I figured but also when he was fry he  did not look like the guppy- they were all gray and no color untill they grew up and he was reddish with black dots all over, then that turned out to be a red platy with black on the back was tuxido platy or mickey mouse platy not sure how it is called but thats how he looked like
