this is my new set up with hand made cabinet base using ikea high gloss black draws.my tank is specially set up for the snake heads so its sub tropical with no heater but has under gravel heated cable for the plant nutriants temp is 22 degrees,
i used fallen wood from my local park pond washed before aquascaping in my tank also added a couple of pond lillys theres also a cecilian worm in there and a reed fish also a few turtles snapper and musk
am using co2 to help boost plant growth heres a few pics and a few videos of my set up let me know what you guys think

Those Channa are absolutely stunning. Are they fully grown? The tank looks great as well, planting an 8 footer must have been a huge job!

As a brief aside, I think the idea of under gravel heaters benefiting plants has been pretty much debunked, but it should work fine for heating the tank.
 
:wub: thanks yes planting the tank was a headache still more plants to go in yet and the snake heads are a young pair male 12"+ female 11"+ will grow to 16"

Stunning your own indoor river...well done, it looks awesome, one to be proud of.
In the first video I love it at 02:19 where they appear like a reflection of each other.

the platform you have on the left of the tank, can you tell us more about this please i.e.what is it made of, how did you fasten it to the side wall of the tank?
The water lily is a neat addition too, and will be cool when it flowers.
Also, what do you feed these fish, they seem to be watching you and eagerly waiting?
