My salinity test pen only has 3 digits how do I get 3000ppm ?

It' says I'm trying to get 3 percent asalinity in the koi pond how do I read my test pin at 3000 parts per million when it only has three digits on the digital screen

I feel stupid for posting this earlier. I did a experiment with salt in a glass and found that a little 10x symbol shows . So I guess Im looking for 300 ppm x10.

Is it a TDS (total dissolved solids) meter or a refractometer (for measuring salt)?
