Is he full grown? I thought that he would have a "dagger" or short sword? How do you know he's a cross? Not doubting ya, just curious

I've never gotten proof of a cross, but I know it's possible. I have been raising them for about 3 years, together, and never had a cross show up.

He's around 2 inches long, so I don't know if he's full grown. My friend (who's a fish breeder) gave him to me. She has his sister, which looks a bit more like a swordtail but has some platy in her. She told me that he was a platy/swordtail cross and even showed me his parents!

Yes, he has a girlfriend! She's a Sunburst platy and her name is Sundance. I'll find some pics of her and him together!

I got a swordtail female once but she jumped and it was too late

but it was a bit weird though
