You forgot to mention twizzlers in your plant list :)

Hopefully everything will settle in nice and start growing well in the water box.

Also got some indian Almond Leaves 🍃 in a jar with boiled water soaking so I can help lower the PH while adding tannins to the water.

Also added some Nutrafin "Instant Cycle" liquid to the tank... It will be filled Cycled in 3 days tottal ,)

On the hunt for some Mini Nerte snails, aka Zebra Thorn Nerite Snails...

Mini nerite snails?! That sounds adorable!

Looking good.
Just be cautious if and when you get around to feeding your livestock. That arrangement of large pebbles will prove to be a magnet for decaying food and organic waste. ;)

That's the goal lol
Lava rock & Pumic rock rubble was on purpose to help home bacteria to "clean" the tank.
I do have a nano filter coming also, only gonna use 1 Sponge that comes with it and adding In PH nutrients balls to slowly lower PH from 7 to 6 range... as we as more lava rocks in the filter.

Only Livestock will be 3 snails, 1 shrimp and 1 fish. MAYBE some neocaridina shrimp colony of 5... Other than this, just plants...

Building a mini ecosystem that at some point is not gonna need very much from me.

Everything is ready for the Fish to arrive tomorrow... Sadly alot my floater plants died off and I had a small outbreak of brown Algae to deal with... I'm assuming because my lights are 18w tottal I was giving "high" light when I intended for med to low lighting... Adjusted the light strength and changed out the water and added tannins. Let's get this growing proper.

Bummer about the floaters. I find that, in my tanks, they either die out or go for world domination--no middle of the road. Sometimes they dominate for a few months, then start dying out. I've never figured out exactly why, but I don't worry about it too much.
