The pride of my fish collection are my tilapias (13", 12", 9" and 7") and my oldest is a 6 yr old old Firemouth that lives, now, with Dipstick, he use to live with Benedict. Do not feel sorry for the fish.......feel sorry for the turtle:D. My FMC is one meany fish :D

i dfidnt know you can keep tilapias...LOL..i used to eat them..ALOT....and they are my favourite dish fish....lol.
I didnt know I was getting them, I was told, as was the previous owner, that they were peacock bass........lol........., they were also only 3" big :D they are not exactly tank fish, but i must say they have personalities that could rival the oscar.......no joke.......they just eat to much and get quite big........you are also the first person to know what they were......it took me over a year to get them ID'd. I also read somewhere that tilapias are used in fishsticks (mass) as a way to sweeten the taste of the fishstick......:D

Thanks for the welcome everyone!!:D

My turtles are my babies, and i love all my pets equally, and i shouldnt play fav's but who wouldn't, I have owned Ben for almost 19yrs now.......:D. He is special......not that way :D.

This seems like a great forum...... good job (very friendly)
