My Cycle Process...

My Story...
Myself and my girlfriend set up our 24x12x18 tank last saturday (5th) and have been adding a little food each day to help the cycle along...

Yesterday (12th) we added 3 red platys which are doing fine.

Today i have purchased a full test kit and got the following results:

pH = 7.0
Ammonia = <0.01
Nitrite = 0.3
Nitrate = 20

What are your opinions?

oh... my temp is a constant 24deg C

the ammonia has slightly started to build up, so has nitrite. I highly doubt your tank is alreayd cycled though.

Don't add any more fish until it is cycled
