My Aro And His Fussy Eating!

i have a little problem with my silver aro. He seems well, a bit of a fussy eater. He will only eat muscles. I feed him twice a day as he is only young, but he wont touch anything other than muscles. Live shrimp climb ontop of him and he just takes them for a ride. Bloodworm is to well red it seems. Prawns are a weird shape, and anything else is just not good enough. Any ideas on how to get him feeding on a range of foods. I want to be sure he is fit and fully healthy.

As long as he is eating then he is OK, you could try and starve him for a couple of days see if he then goes for other food types. Generally i would not be concerned with his behaviour that you have explained.

just buy some morio worms and feed them it wont say no to them. Thats all i feed my aro unless its feeling bold and decides to eat some prawn or pellet that i put in for the other fish.
