I bought my tank a few months back from Aquarist Classifieds, for what I think was a great bargain, £60 for 200l Fluval tank and APS 1400 EF+ filter.

And I've took a few pics of it along the way...

Not long after setting up..

Water has cleared up now..

Added some roots and a bit of java moss..

Old fake plants out new live plants in, bought a mixed bundle which is supposed to be for a tank half the size of mine...

Added a small portion of salvania Natans

Added a black background, looks sooo much better..

Growing Nicely...

Bring on the Jungle haha...  this was taken today.

Work in progress and still learning.

Looks very nice and what a steal at that price, :p

Wow, your plants are very lovely! Wish i could get mine to look like that, hehe. :)

Gorgeous tank! Whilst scrolling I was thinking "He needs to add a black background..", glad you already did! :p

Great bargain and a lovely tank and plants!
Get your post count up and it would be a nice contender for Tank of the Month!

Thanks for the great replies.

Yeah was always in my plans was just waiting to get one what wasn't stupidly overpriced or had bad reviews from buyers.
Ended up painting some wall lining paper black, did the job.

Do you use CO2 or just ferts?

The plant pack came with some root tabs and I've been doing daily doses of easycarbo and weekly doses of profito.
I just threw together a quick DIY yeast c02 set up the other day aswell, so I'll see how well that turns out soon enough.

Looks nice what the time scale been so far from planting live to how they are now?

I planted them sometime around the 20th of November, so they've been in the tank just over 9 weeks, give or take a couple of days.
They've grown a lot better than anything I expected.
