From your experience; to run 4 sponge filters with air stones, what would be more cost effective? running four 1.5w hygger air pumps OR running them all from a multi-outlet 8w/10w pump?

A few people here mentioned running multiple tanks from one supply, but when I read that less wattage means less electricity use on an amazon page for the eheim 100, 200, 400 pumps which are 3.5w, 3.5w and 4watts... I thought, if that's correct, then the two pumps I bought to try out which are 8w and 10w, would be more expensive, not less.

I also bought the eheim 400 to try out and see if it supplies enough air pressure. Because its only 4watts so would be the least energy usage. So I am testing all three pumps for noise level, air pressure level, and electricity usage.

Since in UK electricity and gas has like quadrupled due to issues with Russia... I'm cutting down on everything. But I was in the middle of setting up there new tanks, so I wanted to make it happen.
