Are male betta's generally mucky little fishy's since my tank seems to get mucky right fast and my girlfriend just bought a male betta and keeps in a seperate tank by its self, she also has 3 platys and a female betta in a slightly bigger tank she did a complete water change at the same time and her male betta has dirty water already where as the female one looks clean.
