Hey guys.

I currently have my cycling 28L tank sitting on a study chest. It hasnt finished cycling yet. My problem is that we are soon getting a cabinet to go in the same space which I'm sure is strong enough to hold the tank. my question is that to move the tank, I should simply empty it of water and ove it, before re-filling it, yes? Will it effect my cycle?

Thanks.

No problem at all. Just get everything ready, siphon the water into a suitable container (ie, no traces of detergent etc) move your tank then return the water.

With such a tiny tank the process will not loose any bacteria :good:

It will be fine, just remember not to let your filter media dry out. You could leave some water in the bottom of the tank to submerge your media in.

Skins.

Thanks guys, much less worried now. Just need to get the actual cycle itself sorted out.
