I pick up my new 92 gallon corner tank on Wednesday and would like to move my current anacheris plants into my new tank. Problem is my current 55 gallon has a snail problem which I don't want my new tank to inherit. Is there anything I can do with the plants to make them snail free so I don't have to throw away and repurchase?
I am cycling the tank with a filter pad used by a show tank from the aquarium place I bought my tank to make sure that is not an issue.

Also, if anyone knows of any plants that will thrive like anacheris in a tank where CO2 is not pumped in please let me know. I do use a planted tank substrate.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can soak the plants for like 10-15 in a salt-water solution. I believe the salinity recommended is 1.0014 or something like that.

As long as your tank wont be holding shrimp you can get snail kill chemicals.

Its not ideal but you could also make a mild salt bath and rinse the plants in this then rinse them really well in clean fresh water. Salt may damage the plants but it should also make the snails drop off the plants. I did this technique to rid some shrimp I had which had leeches. The salt was really mild to not harm the fresh water shrimp but strong enough to make the leeches drop off.
