I've just spent a bunch on bettas fr Singapore. . . . . like after it's all said and done I'm pretty much spent my budget for fish for the year and it's just April!!!!

Only just got back into fish keeping and before was never into expensive fish, but I spent £12 D) of an Elephant Nose Fish a while back, but it died within the week for unknown reasons.

elephant fish are very timid, and fussy fish. and its hard to get them to feed properly, as they are developed for sifting through sand for small inverts and insects. SO I read some place, lol.

Anyway, most I've spent on a fish £20, that was a Synodontis Ocellifer, I also in the same trip spent £12 on my Polypterus Senegalus. so thats £32... but since starting in the hobby around 12 months ago, I must have spent thousands lol. well maybe hundreds, I started with a £100 starter kit, that developed into 4 tanks, one of those a 32gallon, which I got for free but had to spend £60 on a stand for it. lol, an expensive hobby, but I love it SO much, I don't know if I'll ever stop keeping fish. /me wipes a tear from his eye as he remembers how his addiction started... stupid Iwantoneofthose.com lol

Look at it this way, if you was stocking a pond two to three hundred pound would be quite normal for a decent sized koi!

11 Total - but not normal bettas all wilds so it's a good deal but that's like the most I've ever spend on fishies

my ADFs at £4 each or 2 for £7 lol. cheapest was my neons at 50p each lol.

though im VERY certain this is going to change this weekend when I get some more stock and im VERY certain it will change over the next three months as a new 4 footer goes up.

lol, I've spent more in plants, just spent £19 today on them, but looking oooohhh so good.
