I want to make a moss cover for a breeding cave for my plnted tank to help it blend in, and have a few questions.

Which is the easist and the fastest moss to grow?
Which is best to attach it to either mesh or slate and how to attach it?
thirdly where is the best place to buy good quailty moss from?

Java Moss is what a lot of people use for caves etc. Its easy to grow but slow. Sticking it on slate people tend to just wrap it round using cotton. I've heard of people glueing it to slate too .

Ebay or people on here to get it from?

Thanks for the reply mate i have been having a read around and think i will go with java moss on a mesh a kind on mini vertical moss wall and weigh it down with some sort of non toxic fishing weights.

will have a look in the classifieds for some java moss

I can't seem to grow java moss. But xmas moss seems to do well for me. It's great stuff, really green. I got mine from a member called Scotty on here. I believe he still has some left
