i just recently got my shipment of 2 mossballs from ebay and i'm just posting to recommend this things. they look really nice in the tank. at first they were alittle brown from the long trip from europe but now after a couple days back in the water they are turning a nice green.

cool Nino
I have just ordered more for myself I like these little guys

What are they good for? Is it similar to java moss? I saw them on sale on eBay and it looks like a compressed ball of java moss, but I doubt it is the case as java moss doesn't do well if you compress it...

apparently they are good for fry and are very hardy (with light and temperature). i'm sure they function like any other plants in your tank, except they are just something a little bit more unusual.

Thanks! ;)

They are indeed interesting! Floats up and down? I guess that won't happen in the aquarium?

It does but only for a few hours :(
however if you take them out and squeeze
them daily this increases the air and thier bouancy
