Monterey Bay Aquarium

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is located in California (U.S.) about an hour or two from San Francisco. It's ranked one of top 5 public aquariums in the world. It was established in 1984 and built around an old cannery... Literally, the old bite sized brick cannery is still standing in the front entrance. They change certain exhibits every now and then, this visit it was all about the jellyfish. And my God, the exhibits were fascinating! They made it into this 1960's style with some groovy music and black lights. The only downside to this aquarium is that the aquarium doesn't manage how many people go into the aquarium, usually it's so crowded that you can't even get to the front of the glass! Luckily, I went on a weekday in the early morning, so it wasn't too bad at all. But some people think it's fine to use flash photography, I told at least three people that you shouldn't use flash... I absolutely love this aquarium though, I always have. Every time I go there's always something better about it.

Keep in mind, there's a lot more to the aquarium, but usually the lighting interferes with the pic taking. Plus, I'm usually too interested in the displays I completely forget to take pics. I just choose the ones I think were the best.

If only i had the space for this at home, it looks amazing!
 
Though i have zero experience in marine aquariums, so a tank of this size probably not a great idea lol

Dude, I'm telling you, the aquariums are so beautiful... They take such good care of all of them, too.

If only admission wasn't so expensive...
