Monte Carlo in new tank

Hi

Just set up the tank in December ,although certain plants are starting to grow , I added some Monti Carlo last week ,and it has died back to a brown/mush ,
50ltr tank ,co2,light on 8 hrs levels all correct temp 25c , ph 6.5 !!! Help

Are you adding aquarium plant fertiliser?
How much CO2 are you adding?

Co2 dosing correct indicator green , adding fertiliser dosing once a week ,

Will post a picture later it’s weird that plant are growing but the new additions have died back,was advised might be potassium trying to pick up a tester today ????

Maybe lack of light on that side, or the tree is leaching something gross out of the wood on that side. But I would have thought anything coming out of the wood would be all over the tree branch

You should monitor the fertiliser levels at least a couple of times a week to make sure the plants aren't using it all up in a few days and then going without fertiliser for the rest of the week. If that happens they will have light and CO2 but no fertiliser.
 
Yes did some research over the weekend think im going to dose every day , using the aquascaper complete liquid plant food .
