Ive put my molly mummy in the breeding tank i just wondered if there was anything i could do to help her such as temp? should i raise it or drop it its at 78F now? would a water change help her? the dark spot has began to appear so i guess its nearly time rite? :)

i know ive already posted it in the livebearers forum but no one answers in there!

78 degrees is fine. Don't do a water change as this will probably stress her out. You should just sit back, leave he alone, and let her do her thing.
Just keep a close eye on her, or she'll eat all of the babies before you can get them out of there.

When she swims up, down left and right at the end of the tank it will mean she's gonna drop anytime soon. Normally early the following morning ;)

ive got her in a new divider, so im hoping it'll work, the babies are supposed to swin through the gaps but they cant get back!

Those baby savers rarely work. The best way to save the babies is to have a fully planted tank as the birth tank. With lots of plants to hide in the babies will be able to avoid their hungry mum. Raising the temperature could make her drop her fry faster most breeders keep the temperature of their tanks up around 80 degrees so that the fry develop faster. After the fry are born try to do a lot of water changes, that will make the fry grow much faster.

You could use a breeding trap. This is what I used when breeding livebearers, and it works very well. It is a small floating plastic box that you put the mom in with slots at the bottom which the fry fall through to safety.
