Get more male Mollies, 5 is a good number they appear to stop fighting then, also is there enough female mollies for them as they get angry with other males if there not enough females to go round.

was that laughing due to the bad advice advising me to get MORE males???

I'm pretty sure adding MORE males would cause bigger problems. I currently have two male mollies and no females so would think i need to add females right??!?! but the thing is surely to suit the correct ratio i would need to add 6 females!?!?!?!?! (3:1) but would my tank size/fish be able to take this amount??

Thanks

More Mollies is absolutely the wrong thing to do. Separate these fish out right now. Males can fight for space or fight for females. Females should be kept in a ratio of 5:2 to males. 3:1 is better, but 2:1 can suffice sometimes. I've found that males tend to be happy when they have mating on their minds. This is not always the case though. I would keep an eye on them. These fish may never get a long and separating them is your only choice.

They seem to be ok for long periods of time and then they just go for it. I may look into getting some females.... If I dont sell the whole aquarium first, had nothing but nightmares with it.....

I had that same problem with my 2 balloon mollies and when I added another male and added a female they stopped and concentrated on the female. :hyper:
