Signed up so I can get some answers on this problem. :/

Anyways, I have a cycled 20 gal tank. It's been running since December (we've already gone through the deaths and drama of fish during the cycling) and all the levels are good now. I do 25% water changes (and vacuum the gravel) every week or every other week. In the tank there are 3 red eye tetra, one adult balloon molly, one small catfish, and four baby balloon/dalmatian molly babies. (the dad seemed to die from old age)

A couple days ago I noticed one of the babies would swim up to the surface, but while swimming up he would spin like a ballerina. (not circling or out of control, just like he was spun like a top slowly?). He swims normally other than that, eats fine, ect. Well, I noticed today that two of the others is doing it as well. None of the other fish are showing signs of anything, and they seem to only do it every once in awhile like when I'm by the tank or coming to feed. I saw a video of whirling disease, and it's nothing like that. The babies are about one month old now.

Any help would be amazing. I must add, if it helps, that I've had a recent problem with these tiny ants that crawl up to the tank for water or crawl in the food. That started a while ago, however, and was actually a lot worse before we set up traps for them. I also have a betta (who is the meanest thing ever) in his own bowl that I'm pretty sure has eaten many of these ants as they favored his food, and nothing is wrong with him.

Thanks a ton. I'll post updates on them, but 'patient zero' is still the same (no worse, or better) after a couple days. Could they have perhaps inherited something from the dad? (he had some issues with these head seizures), or could it be because they're hybrids? Haha, I should probably let the people who know stuff take stabs at this. XD
