Mollies In Cold Water Tank?

hi people,just a quick question
is it possable to put mollies in a cold water tank
been to my local fish shop
because ive been having trouble keeping mollies in
my tropical tank.
i have neons,tetras,swordfish an several types of guppy
but he(lfs owner)mentioned that he put his mollies
in an outside pond,and because the water was murky
and full of small parasites they addapted very well
but am now wondering if they could be mixed in with
my goldfish in coldwater tank
any idea,s?

It is possible, but they are not particularly cold tolerant to my knowledge.

Goldfish are also quite messy and mollies appreciate clean conditions, especially in softer water.
