Hi all,

we have had another problem with one of our mollies. We went away for the weekenrd and on our return she was HUGE and i mean huge with the classic pine cone effect, i had read somewhere that if it is sudden then its probably a bacterial infection and so got some treatment and this morning she is back to normal size but she looks a little ragged around the edges as some of her scales appear to have lifted off and her dorsal fin is not really there anyomore.

she is still eating fine and swimming with no issues. Also she has some yellow marks on her side.

should i worry at all?

Finally yesterday i found a clump of eggs attached to the magnetic glass cleaner. We have Danios so i have assumed its from them, does anyone have any pictures of danio eggs that i could compare it to?

thanks

Mike

I have never heard of dropsy getting well that fast. In most cases with drospy the fish never lives. Can you post a picture of the fish I would love to see it.

Rather strange, hope she has but i've never heard of a fast recovery like that either, the fin has much has gone sounds like a second infection with the dropsy, the scales do fall off with dropsy.
