plants: glosso, blyxia, hairgrass, vivipara, downoi

after a month

after 5 mos. i took out the glosso and replaced the whole tank with hairgrass

Yeh i agree with aaron, taller rocks would look alot better, seeing as your hair grass is quite tall. Maybe a different type of rock too?
 
I quite like the looks of the rocks, but I agree that they're being buried a bit too deeply in the grass.

Other than that, very good looking, stylish tank. I like.
 
thanks guys for the suggestion, ill try to trim it first then see what happens. will update this thread.
 
i love the subtle look this tank gives off. much better with the hair grass IMO. the rocks look fine, but as aaron says you may (not essential) need maybe a taller center stone.

if you take what youve got from this setup into a bigger setup, you wont go wrong. nicely done.

Seriously though, nice scape, the hairgrass is very lush
 
Awesome looking tank!.............love the hairgrass.........Did you think about some freshwater shrimp for the setup?..............They would love to live in that tank!
