He's going to hopefully be my office betta (If the supervisor and my office mate agree).
I have a 2.5 gal starter kit that he is currently exploring. He was marked as a Super Delta at the store.

Gorgeous betta! Did you get him from a LFS, or a chain? LOL, I'm curious. I like the name Lan, if that's what you're going with.

Well it doesn't matter anymore... He turned out to be a jumper. And there was a hole in the lid of the back of the kit and he decided he's go for a walk
I got a replacement, but it wouldn't be right to introduce him in a thread so soon after loosing Lan.

Have you covered that opening?
You can put something like saran wrap over it if there isn't anything else to cover it with.
