Meet Boris

I was at my LFS today, when a chap came in who was shutting his tanks down. He came in with loads of fish, hoping to re-home them. The LFS took some off him and i took this Angel off his hands. I have had Angels before, i though i had a pair (which killed each other!). I always said i'd never have another.

My tank at the moment is just full of Cardinals, well was...

he's only been in the tank a couple of hours, so he's a bit stressed at present. I'm sure his colours will come out.

Nice angel, especially if he was cheap or even free !

I've always had success with single angels in community tanks. The real problems have come for me when I try to keep more than one.... and they can be stubborn, aggressive little blighters then.

He will be on his own, i'm the same, unless i had a bigger tank, i'd might have a few more. He's in a Trigon 190ltr, they are quite tall as well.

S/he looks very nice, though it doesn't resemble the Mayor of London in anyway. It looks considerably more intelligent and colourful.

In all seriousness, Boris does look really but not nice enough to justify the sort of prices LFS sell them for. Also, I'm used to seeing plump Koi/goldfish, Angels are wafer thin aren't they?

Do they ever get a bit more bulky?

Wow, Boris is a stunner. These are the markings on angels i love. I can't stand the spangled/marbled colours of others. Natural, silver/grey/black banding is the nicest by far!
