I've been mostly barbeque-ing this last few weeks too, last year the mrs got me a battery powered spit to fit over the BBQ so ive been doing things like poussin and whole legs of lamb with that and ive been doing quite a bit of marinading and rubbing with spices for things like Morocan lamb chops, Jamaican jerk chicken and tomato and basil chicken all of which go nicely with some spiced rice and chargrilled vegetables.
