Manzanita Scaped 55Gal...what Next?

Where would you go with this scape, what would you add? Im thinking more plants in the left corner maybe some carpet plants too??

Any additions on stocking to what ive got?

9 columbian tetra
1 Green terror
2 Ellioti cichlid

also its cloudy because i kicked up some sand

Definitely some rocks, you have some good wood in the tank. Take a look at this to give you a basic idea

Stocking seems okay but just remember gts do get big, are your Elliotis a pair? Maybe add some bottom feeders, I went with hoplos.

maybe some slate, smash it and make some caves? then grow some moss on it, im currently doing this with my tank
