Male platy chasing?

my male platy who was calm and didn't do anything for weeks has decided to chase the females in the tank, I have 3 female platys with the one male, but I'm not sure if he is chasing to breed or chasing to be a bully.

He is also chasing my 3month old possibly female swordtail aswell, but not bothering with the older and bigger swordtails.

So my question is does he sound like he's chasing to be a bully or is he chasing to breed?

It is most likely he is chasing to breed only if you see him nipping at them it is bullying the females should be alright seems he has so many to chase.

Most likely to breed. You male to female ratio looks good but if you are worried it will stress the girls out you could add 1 or 2 more
