Here is Rocky, my pride and joy. I THINK he's male, but who knows? Anyway, without further ado:

Yes, he's male, he has bristles going up his nose, females don't. Nice plec you have there, I have a fully grown male, and two juvies that I think are both female!

What size is your male BN?
I have one BN at the moment that doesnt have any bristles but im not sure if it has to get bigger before it grows any. confusing me hehe.
he looks lovely though, and is that wisteria and amazon swords i see in there?

Lovely Some females actually do have little "stubs" on the lip edges which can make it tricky to sex when young!

But that is definitely a male as he also has some centre bristle running up between towards the eyes.

The smaller one is about 3" last I measured him. Such an adorable little thing. I would love to see him reach adulthood.
And the bigger one, who I just bought about a week or so ago is 4.5" and the biggest coward I have ever seen lmao. Hoping he'll come around when he gets used to being where he is, and sees I'm NOT going to try and kill him.

Edit: Oops, forgot. lintulover666, that's all Amazon swordplants in there. Once in a while the big guy will knock them lose on his rounds, but that's okay.
