Male And Female Betta Wild Question

i was wondering because someone told me i could do this but can i keep a male and female betta in a 3 gallon aquarium?

you can keep male and female wild bettas together but a bigger tank would be better

In theory you could keep a wild betta pair together Not Betta Splendens! but like the others said, you really do want a bigger tank than a 3g.

Ahh, we misunderstood, no you most definitly could not keep 2 regular betta (Betta Splendens - Siamese fighting fish) Together in a 3 gallon tank. They would probably kill each other within a day.
