Don't know if I should be worried or not but I figured I should ask just to be safe. I have recently began breeding MTS and don't see them all that much during the day. However, when I turn the light on in the mornings or just randomly to look at everything I notice there are dozens of snails ALL over the glass and towards the water line. Is there not enough oxygen in the tank because I heard snails climbing towards the water line is a sure sign of oxygen deprivation.

My MTS do the same, climbing to the top of the water line occaisionally, I think it is just them exploring and nothing to worry about.

Except for the babies, I almost never see my adult MTS, they're always hiding in the substrate. I believe that MTS are nocturnal(?).
If you're at all worried about them, give the substrate a good stir and you should be able to find them.

Good luck breeding them!

Thanks for the response Blondie, breeding is going great so far. That's why I was worried because I didn't know if them reproducing too quickly would throw the tank outta whack
