Malawi And Plecos

ok well today i went to my LFS and noticed a beautiful pleco which i think is a leopard pleco ill post a pic in a mo. My question really is will he be ok with lake Malawis? The LFS said yes but i fell into the trap of trusting them before researching! Now and then my traversay go for him if hes in their territory. will he be a happy pleco in this environment. Ph is around 7.5

yes that foot long fish would live with most Africans fine.
there is the chance of eye plucking in plecos with Mbuna, just saying.
