I've seen this it would be cooler with bigger tubes tho. Also how would you clean the tubes of waste/ algae?

Soak them in bleach then rinse them out

Yes bleach is harmful but it is a good cleaning agent and you can rinse it off and make sure there is none left and leave it to dry in the sun. Or you can use vinegar and water

It could be really stressful for the fish, as they might get confused and start panicking. It is a cool idea though.

I personally use vinegar for cleaning off calcium build up and stuff like that. I don’t like to use bleach near my tanks, even if people say it’s “safe”. Just my opinion.

Bleach is fine for cleaning if you use a 1pt bleach to 10pts water solution. Just rinse it really well
