hello all

I have a trigon 350 to which houses my beautiful rift setup . i have a small problem . I am currently using a pad scrubber , on my weekly water change , to clean the inside of the glass . This works very effectivly to clean the glass and pollute the water with my skins secretions . I would like to purchase a floating algea magnet cleaner but as the main pane of glass is a 4 foot quater circle , i am having problems finding a cleaner that can accomodate the curve of the glass . Does anyone have a trigon or similar curved tank and what algea magnet have you got ?

thanks for your help and i await your comments

all the best

The best magnetic type cleaner that I have encountered up until now is one I received as a gift. It is one of the ones that goes by the name of hammerhead and is a very strong magnet that ensure that any cleaning done will be effective at preventing any area being missed by the cleaner.
Unfortunately, I would be afraid to use my hammerhead on anything less than the 1/2 inch thick glass that I have in my biggest tank. In a tank using thinner glass, I would be concerned about the cleaner damaging the glass. Each glass cleaner needs to be matched with its location and its application.
