Low Tech / Easy Plant Recommendations

I will be getting an Aqua One Aqua Start 6 Gal tank this weekend for my 2 african dwarf frogs and I will also eventually hopefully be adding a Betta to the tank. I am using sand and I have decided to create a small terrace from some slate. I have already picked a couple of different plants out that I intend to have in there, which will be water wisteria(to plant and float), cabomba and some moss balls. I really want to keep it as low maintance as possible as I never had much luck in the past when planting in my 60L tank. So could I please get recommendations of some other plants that basically require nothing but light and healthy water to survive? With it being such a small tank and me not having much room to play around with scaping I really want to make it look as nice as possible.

Talking of light, how long should I be looking at keeping the light on in the tank for the plants? The tank will be pretty much opposite a window so should get a fair amount of natural light most of the day.

Vallis, anubias, java fern, java moss, crypts and most mosses are all easy plants to get along with. Leave the light on for 7-8 hours a day.

Thankyou! I shall check out all those plants, did consider attaching some moss to the terrace I plan to make but I havn't made up my mind about that yet. 7-8 hours it is!
