 After feeding yesterday, I went looking for my male stripped con because I hadn't seen him in over a day. I had thought that possibly he and my pink female might have a nest of eggs in this ship I have as decoration since she's taken up residence in it and has been defending it. Well, I lifted up all the rocks and big stuff and didn't find him. Later, I found him floating at the top of the tank all covered in fuzz. Couldn't tell what might of killed him. He hadn't been sick that I had noticed and didn't appear to have any chunks taken out of him.
I went back a little later and looked inside the ship, no fry either.
What a bummer. :-( :-( :-(

Did you check the water quality recently? Maybe there was a spike in the water and he couldn't handle it. That fuzz sounds like it happened after death. Usually bacteria starting to decompose.
