Ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate less than 5.0

Established tank for 9 months, was moved Dec 28th new place. Never had ammon spikes or anything

Whats your nitrate tap reading, do you have live plants, do you over feed the fish.

Some java moss.

Fish are not over fed. 4 times a week. 2 feedings on those days.

Dry food in evening
Frozen in the morning

Checking tap now

Check filter is working at full speed and it not blocked up, sometimes they need a clean, put new floss in.

Nitrate is at 0

Filters are working fine, nothing blocking flow. Bio wheels spinning along.

I have decided to reduce lighting. And already do 2 water changes a week (sun and wed), so comfortable with that.

Feel your glass inside to feel if it feels slimy it might need a good clean.

I did everything you are telling me :D

I have the magnet cleaner in there, I will scrub with this other thing i have.

I'm always cleaning my glass with two fancy goldfish.

By the way I appreciate your responses. At the least i know I did everything, maybe I will give it some time.

I added some carbon to my filter, and I will wait

Do you use floss in your filter as that helps remove fine particles in your water.

i had this happen to one of my 55s.

it took about 1 1/2-2 weeks to clear.....

i was told to airate the watter while this was happening so the fish wold forshure have oxegen since the bacteria uses alot of O2....

i also did 10-20% waterchanges dayly trying to get as much gunk off the sand as posible...

HTH
good luck
