submerged in a tank....
so one of my thick- lipped is trying to build a bubble nest....i dont have the right conditions in the tank for it...but the lil bugger is still trying and hes become very terrortorial of the back corner of the tank. hes also doing a odd dance with one of the other thick-lipped...i assume they are trying to mate....

so my ?? is...what happens if there is no nest?

i have had my tanks for only a cpl of months and i have zero experience with breeding...i am just trying to provide a decent home for them! what the hell am i gonna do with babies??

u probably wont get babies... its not as easy as puttin 1 male and 1 female together

If there is no nest, there will be no babies. The eggs have to be blown into a bubble nest in order to survive - there they are cared for by the father and prevented from rotting, etc. So you have no need to worry about babies.
