Hi Night61 :)

I agree with Tolak. All it takes is a few interested people and you can share the work and grow from there.

Here are a few articles you might find helpful:

In general, aquarium societies are helpful and supportive of new clubs starting up. This organization would probably be worth contacting and, of course, once you are on your way, TFF can give you a subforum where your members can meet, organize, and stay in touch between meetings.

I hope you give starting one up some serious thought. It's a lot of fun. :)

I'm looking for a clubs in the Carson city NV area or Reno nv. I with I had a club up in lake tahoe where I live. I know there is one in Sac.

what would be a help is to finding members that are already on the forum that are near by

Hi Night61 :)

I haven't forgot about you. I will keep my eye out for members near you and did find guppymonkey who also lives in Queensbury, NY. Perhaps you could get in touch with him. What other towns/cities are near enough to work?

Hi snowflake311 :)

So far I haven't found any clubs in Nevada but I'll keep looking for you.

Hey all you ichthyologist type people, anybody out there know of any organized groups in South Florida keeping arowanas? I've been keeping and breeding tropical fish for 48 years and the arowanas will be my next venture, thanks, Mike M.

Hi FishWiz and welcome to the forum! :hi:

Please check the list for clubs in your area.

While it's doubtful that you will find a club that specializes in just arowanas, there are a number of more general clubs in Florida. The chances are good that you'll meet someone in any of them that keep those fish.

Hope to see more of your posts on the forum. :D
