I recently read on a fish profile website that bloodworms are not good for Boesmanni rainbowfish. I have fed mine some before reading this and thankfully have not had any problems. I am now looking for some thing else to feed them that my angel will also enjoy. I was thinking of krill. My questions are

1. Has anyone else ever heard why bloodworms are bad for Boesmanni's?
2. Is krill ok for Angelfish?

I need something both can eat because they are in the same tank. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Brine shrimp - they'll both love them.

I don't keep any rainbows so I didn't know feeding them bloodworms was not a good idea. With cichlids that can't be fed high-protein foods like bloodworms it's because they have a very long digestive tract and they can't handle the high protein which kind of clogs up their system.

Krill should be ok for angelfish.
