Got a little upgrade in the works!

Redsea Reefer 170 and an AI prime light, so will be able to keep all kinds of different corals that I couldn't with the sea evo stock light.

Will get it cycled and move over my tank stuff and sell the smaller one on to a friend.

Already enjoying the extra space and flow.

Will get corals over within the next couple of days, transferred over some live rock and the media so just need to keep an eye on it to make sure everything is fine, then will be shutting the other tank down..

Very nice! Do you plan on adding any other fish to the new tank other than the existing ones?
I'm gonna pair up the clown with another, and I want a firefish.

Not too sure what else I can get in really, would prefer to keep it understocked for stability and less water changes ideally lol.

When Tammi met Marvin.

Added some nice corals to the tank, a frog spawn, gold torch and some new zoas.

The two clowns are getting along well.. No signs of bickering or aggression, they sleep on opposite sides of the tank though.

Started getting corals settled into positions and added some pulsing xenia, some more zoas and some mushrooms.

Firefish has been in for just under a week now I think and has started coming out from hiding now, always loved the look of these fish so happy to have one in there now.

Also added a bubble tip anemone which has gone on a little trip to find its home which unfortunately is in a little crevice on the back of the rock. As long as it's happy and healthy, I can't ask for much more.

It started here

Then after a day or so started moving round

New spot is now here!

When your anemone finally settles down and stops wandering, move any corals away from it so they don't fight.

Yea, I've not fixed any frag other than the frog spawn to be prepared for the nem, it seems to have settled in that regard quite luckily away from any corals.

What sort of distance would you say is safe? Could a candy cane frag work on the opposite side of the rock where its at now?

Man I missed a lot! The Red Sea is a really nice tank.

The tank is looking mighty fine!!

How is the leather working out? Some reefers complain it releases toxins and that it doesn’t work out for them.

My only question: how do you afford all of this!? Those torches look stunning.

Where do you get your corals?

On the other side of the rock should work just fine. Just don’t put nems and coral right next to eat other.

bubble tip anemones can easily reach 6 inches in diameter and you want a few more inches of clearance around that.
