Not so little Rusty anymore, not suprised he has grown so much when he stuffs his face like he does with prawn!

The shop didnt have the small prawns so hubby bought tiger prawns, he has about 3/4 of one chopped up rammed in his mouth there. I was going to get a pic of Chops with his mouth full but he swallowed it all before I pointed and clicked.

jeez !!!!! that explains why they grow so fast . thats quite a mouthfull.

my 2 seem too o bsessed with their reflections to eat. the had a mealworm or 2 each yesterday , but completely ignore the pellets , and not interested in mealworms thos morning. im cooking some peas for em to see if that gets their attention.

It might be worth not offering mealworms for a few days just pellet, my lot this morning have all given me evil death stares because they had prawn last night and are glaring at pellet floating around the tank. They can become very fusy very quick. With the exception of Chops, fatso will eat anything anytime

ok will do . i may try putting some black pper ober the end of teh tank where they swim up and down the glass , eyeballing their reflections. see if that diverts their attention back ontop food as well .


EDIT: just thought id try some pellets . 1 took a couple 1 dindt bother. id always imagined a greedy pig of a fish that would tag anything that hit the water. hmmmmm looks like its gonna be a learning curve with these boys. they certainky cant be full cos they both ate very little yesterday . guess they are jsut being awkward little so an sos .
