hello to you all

my prob is with an established tropical tank
would like to place a large rock in so got one today prob is it fizzes in week acid
can i use it or not

Not in a normal FW tropical tank no. It will raise hardness and alkalinity of the water. If it was an african lake tank, then maybe. See the wolfs pinned topic on safe rocks for aquariums...
