Little Flys Around Top Of My Tank!

Hello,

first of these flys die in about 1 day. They seem to come in waves. The first time I noticed them was when I brought home some Java Moss. They seem atracted to the water. Whenever I lift my lids amungst the water drops are these little dryed up flys. They are aprox the sise of a pen tip barely visible and some of them have a grenish tint. Dont think i have ever seen them "fly by" where as they are very small.

Any similar experiences? Or ideas as per what I am looking at?
