They look great! Did you breed them yourself? I can't see a jag breeding tank on your sig...

Nope. The LFS had a breeding pair that spawned. They weren't going to do anything about it, so I asked the manager if I could have a few. He plunged the net in and fished out a netful and just gave them to me.

A couple of days later the parents ate all the ones left in the tank.

If you have a look on my youtube channel there is the playlist with weekly updates on their growth.

That is a lot of little jags :) love how active they are. What kind of setup do you plan on putting them in?

None. Unfortunately I don't have the space for another largeish tank.

I am already looking out for fish auctions to give them away.

It's a pity, I wish I could keep one or two, but the only tank they could go in is full of tasty tetras...

Worst case scenario, Maidenhead aquatics have already said they'll take them in.

Not having a dig, but why did you ask for them, knowing that you didn't have the space for them?

I have the space to grow them to juveniles, but not to keep them as adults. I was planning to move them on from the start.

Adorable!  I'd take one off your hands if I had the room to do a cichlid tank...oh well, one day.  Thanks for sharing :)

You've got plenty of time to get one going! ;)

I will take them with me at the next BCA meeting in Redditch, as well as a few other fish.
I'm going to change a few things in my tanks, and decommission one of them.

Which one are you decommissioning?  Looks like you have some lovely setups :)

It's not listed.

I am experimenting with an 80 litre tank. It's been running for three months now, without a single water change, sitting in front of the window. It is overgrown with algae, I keep pulling out lots of them, but nitrate is contantly fairly low even if it's a bit overstocked and I feed it twice a day.

A pair of kribs has even spawned in there!
