Lighting

Hi all, I have a starter unit in the house which allows the use of an 8w bulb. The clips that attach to either end of the bulb have 't5 16mm' wrote on them. I want a beauty light for my tank but am having trouble finding out which bulb to use. There is a place that sells them but I have been told that they have a t5 light in stock but not a compact one.

My question is...do I have to use a compact light or will a normal t5 one be enough?
