Hi,
After a long break from the hobby, I'm thinking about setting up a planted tank. I am thinking of a 55 gallon set up. I was browsing the local used everywhere site and found a t5 fixture that I was wondering about. It is obviously made for saltwater (6 t5s with 3 actinics (sp?)) but my question is, if I replaced the three blue bulbs with more appropriate ones, would it be too powerful for a planted tank? If so, would it be possible to put less powerful bulbs, or some other solution? It's only 150$, so I'd like to take advantage of the deal!
Thanks,
Alex
