Do you adding anything to the water? I have been adding about a gallon of treated tap water to 5 gallons of RO and keeping my ppm at 50.

For the 3 tanks with soft / very soft water fish no. In the nano I use salty shrimp gh/kh+ to raise dGH to 6 (107ppm) and dKH 3 (54ppm), this one has a neutral pH where all the rest are acidic.

I have actually upped the intensity in the new tank and the cyano is now actively dying.

Woohoo. BGA patch is reducing in size daily with no further intervention. None on substrate, none on plants and the sponge in the skimmer stays white (ish). It does seen like the light spectrum was the main culprit.
